Our Dog Obedience Training Classes

With Silverbrook Kennels, your dog will receive basic obedience training that helps them excel in the world and at home. Before we get started, you’ll have the chance to let us know about your goals for dog training, as well as any behavioral concerns you have. 

During our three-week training program, we teach your pup key commands like sit, come, heel, down, and leave it. Dogs learn not to jump on guests or bark uncontrollably. We’ll also teach them to respond to commands even with distractions like squirrels or other dogs. 

You’ll be involved in the process, too! Dog owners from Woodbridge, VA are invited for a visit during the second-week period, where we’ll strategize for the after-training period. At the end of the program, we’ll also spend some time with you and your pup, helping you build a specific vocabulary when interacting with your dog. It means that your dog can more easily retain what they’ve learned during training.
