Since 1979, Silverbrook Kennels, Inc., has been a family-owned and operated facility that is driven by our passion for dogs and their care. We started out teaching dogs how to work in partnership with their owners as hunting dogs. While we have transformed over the years into a multipurpose kennel, we still honor our training roots by providing quality and caring obedience training that helps your dog be the best they can be. We enjoy working with dog owners on how to communicate and manage their dogs to enhance the relationship they have with the entire family.

At Silverbrook Kennels, our 10-acre property in Fredericksburg, VA provides a safe, fun environment for dogs staying with us for boarding, daycare, or dog obedience training. Our caring staff has a passion for dogs and will do all they can to encourage your dog to have a comfortable, safe and fun time while you are away.

We know it can be stressful leaving your dog home alone while you're at work or traveling. Our dog-loving team takes the time to get to know each guest, treating them like family and making sure they feel comfortable during their stay.
For dogs who enjoy extra attention during their boarding stay, we also offer special one-on-one play sessions, including water play, fetch, nature walks, and other personalized activities.
