Trish,
I've hunted over 53 years, but the last 15 have been better than my wildest dreams. My introduction to Richard Wolters training methods and his love for the breed showed me the way, and it lead stright to you. Your love and dedication to this breed and your attention to the litters you and your staff raise is outstanding. You nurture and introduce each litter to every condition, and it shows. My 1st dog DRAKE was a PETEY grandpup. He was one fine hunting partner. My next was SILVERBROOKS MIDNIGHT SUSIE, A VIRGINIA JACK DADDY prodigy with a line to RAW's TARTU. Richard would say she's a "GREAT GIRL ". Even today at 9 she has drive & focus. A great hunting partner and family dog. Now my latest SILVERBROOKS I'LL FOLLOW YOU... SIR! A name dedicated to my beloved DRAKE. It took me many years to remember to follow him ,he knows the way. As your PETEY did! This boy was super, an easy train, due to your attention. I hunt D.E.C. Coop "state" land. Many hunters, few birds, very competive. The easy birds are hanging around at let out time, around 6 a.m. I don't hunt those birds. I go around 9-10 a.m. By then the owls, hawks, & hunters and their dogs have had at them. Pickings are slim. SIR, at 8-9 mo. flushed 108 birds 30 (my limit) fell to my .410ga. A great season, a grand memory and thanks to you, a great dog! Richard must be looking down on you and your operation with great pride!
Your friend, Jim Gergel |
