Hey Trish,
Roux is doing great. She
changes so much from day to day. Right now she is a beautiful, light khaki,
31 pound monster. She has so much energy, and we love it. Every weekend
she gets to go out to my parents farm and run with the big dogs. They run
her so hard that she sleeps for two days straight afterwards. We especially
love that part. We are having so much fun with her. Some of her favorite
things are... ice, the marble slab in front of the fireplace, treats, eating
in general, the edge of my pillow at bed time, walks and Tiger, our next
door neighbor's dog. All and all I think Roux feels pretty great where
she is. We take her everywhere. We have become one of those couples who
turn down social engagements because we can't bring our dog. Here is a
picture we took last night.
Enjoy,
Angela
Trish,
Just wanted to send one picture
now. When I have a large group I'll mail you printed out photos. Thanks
for a great pup, she's everything you said she would be, and more. You
sure know how to pick a puppy.
Thanks again,
Jim Gergel
Hi Trish,
Thought you might enjoy seeing
a picture of Lucy at almost 6 months old. Leo and I think she looks a lot
like her mama, Tana. She is full of energy and very smart, too. She outwits
our other Lab (Mookie, a 3 year old male) all the time. My vet accused
me of being sexist when I said that I thought Lucy is smarter than Mookie!
We recently moved to a house with a big yard so they are both really enjoying
the opportunity to run. There's a pond nearby so we're hoping to get some
swimming in soon too. I see you have another litter coming from Tana and
Rebel; I'm sure they will be great! Take care,
Laurie Mombay

Dear Trish
We Arrived home with "Little"
Jed, soon to be "Big Jed", He warmed up nicely and survived his first car
trip, we took him out in the back yard and just as you trained him, he
found his territory.
He's a great addition to
our family, Danielle is thrilled, Paul elated.
Thanks for all your attention.
Best Regards,
Paul T Wielebinski, M.D.
Trish,
Hello and I hope that all
is well with you. I thought that I would drop you a quick note to let you
know how my puppy is doing. Her call name is Tate and registered name is
Silverbrook Boom's Hot Tater. There are two words to describe her: Exceptional
and Fearless. She is everything that I dreamed of and thought she would
be at this point and time. She fears nothing and is willing to try anything.
Her personality is very sweet and she is extremely willing to please, just
as you said she would be. I took her to the vet's yesterday and she now
weighs 18 1/2 pounds and is extremely good looking. My vet, who really
isn't impressed by labs is also taken by her good looks and health. He
complimented you on your puppy care program. She is doing quite well with
house breaking, sits to both voice and whistle, heels and retrieves her
dummy several times a week. It has been difficult to get outside since
we still have 7" of snow on the ground and it has been extremely cold.
She has become very much a part of our family and even shares my bed at
night with me. She loves to snuggle!!!! To say the least that I am very
happy would be an understatement. I tell everyone who comments on her all
about you and your kennel. I would again like to thank you for your patience
with me during the year that I was waiting for her. I do have a question
for you. If I were to bring her back to you for training, at what age would
you recommend and for how long would she need to be there for gun dog training?
Also, other than her basic obedience, what should I be working? Again,
thank you for your time and professionalism in helping me in selecting
my puppy. I will be sending you some pictures as soon as I get them developed.
Sincerely,
Mike
