Spice had more heart than several dogs put together. She was a super mother and produced some of the best chocolate puppies I have seen. Spice took a lot of pride in her puppies. Looking back, she taught me a lot more than I taught her. She went from having no confidence in herself to becoming a Master Hunting Retriever in less than 2 years. She didn't get this title because of the training she received or the trainers, Spice did it because she always gave it her all and never gave up! Even though she made a lot of mistakes along the way, she was always trying to do better. If she were a person, she would be a great success story. Education wise, she came from nothing and ended up as a somebody. She did this because she wanted to and not because of others. She was the most honest dog I have ever met. Those who knew her learned a lot from her and miss her dearly. She taught us a lot in her short life.
